- This web site is owned and operated by the International Tutoring Association. The content of the ITA web site including, but not limited to, our database information, is protected by US copyright laws and regulations. No material in any shape or form may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, or distributed unless otherwise noted.
- Tutors, trainers, tutees, and other persons in our database will only be contacted (by mail, email, or telephone) by ITA unless prior permission is given to ITA. Other individuals, businesses and websites are strictly prohibited to contact registered site users.
- We understand that individuals under the age of 18 may want to become tutors. If you are under 18 years old, you MUST obtain parent or legal guardian permission to register with ITA. We encourage parents and legal guardians to actively participate in the experience as well.
- When you register with ITA, you understand that your contact information, including, but not limited to, your name, email, mailing address, and telephone number will be viewed by ITA staff members only. Furthermore, you also agree that the information you have provided is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge. The responsibility to provide us with an accurate name for your ITA training certificate rests with you.
- We DO NOT store any credit card information.
- We DO NOT sell names, email address, or contact information. YOUR PRIVACY IS PROTECTED.
- Use of inappropriate language anywhere on this website is strictly prohibited.
- ITA will not get involved in tutor-tutee matching, nor will we be held responsible for disputes, claims, loss, injury, or damage of any kind that may arise during or after tutor-tutee interactions.
- ITA is provided "as is" for our registered members, and disclaims responsibility for any loss, liability, injury, claim, or damage resulting from any errors found on this website and its content.
- UPDATE (August 23, 201): ITA reserves the right to refuse service. If, upon signup, a tutor trainee behaves inappropriately, or acts in an abusive or threatening manner, we reserve the right to immediately cancel the signup. In this case, a refund will be issued.
