At ITA, we don't believe in complicating your training experience with endless jargon and confusing requirements.
That's why we've broken down the entire training process into the following straightforward steps. From start to finish.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy! Just follow these simple steps, and you'll be on your way to becoming a certified tutor:
- Click on the Sign Up link on the menu bar, or use the link at the bottom of this page.
- Enter your personal information.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of $65
- Sit back and wait for your training materials to arrive! Can't wait? You can also download some of the materials you'll need directly from the ITA website!
What do I need to be certified?
- Sign up to be an ITA Tutor Trainee.
- Read our specially developed tutor training materials.
- Complete the online activity modules.
- Log 10 hours of tutoring experience.
- Provide ITA with 3 positive tutoring session evaluations.
- Complete 2 final projects.
- Receive your ITA certificate in the mail!
